Review process
A programme committee, consisting of scientific leaders in the field and headed by a committee chair, handles the review process. Submissions (full papers) have a length of 8 pages in ICA format. The review is carried out in a single-blind fashion. The papers are evaluated by at least two reviewers according to predefined criteria (e.g. scientific contribution, quality of approach and results, clarity of presentation); reviewers may give recommendations concerning the improvement of the paper. Based on this review, the review committee decides whether papers are accepted. In the case of disagreement, another review will be solicited. High-quality papers will be published in the Advances of the ICA after the authors have revised their paper according to the reviewers' comments.
Final papers are due 6 weeks prior to the meeting. The Advances of the ICA volume will be made available for the meeting.
